The First Debate

The PRPR conducted its first debate on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at the Chairman's Manor in Rutherford, New Jersey. The topic question was as follows:

Should the United States grant citizenship to the approximately 11.7 million immigrants who live in the United States without lawful documentation?

Pushing well into the evening, and through several bottles of vino, the lively discussion probed the boundaries of the problem and tested the veracity and coherence of each divergent view.

In addition to the discourse around the table, PRPR membership was challenged with the views of two distinguished guests who shared their opinion via video.

Video one features Mr. Tony W.C.L. De Vito:

Video two stars Mr. Marcus LeCheck Xavier Scherrer:

Mr. De Vito and Mr. Scherrer elevated the discussion by introducing and highlighting several critical dimensions of the problem. The PRPR offers its sincere gratitude to Mr. De Vito and Mr. Scherrer for their masterful participation in the inaugural debate.
